  Y Weight
 

Lose weight and become a stronger, healthier you, using the newly combined power of two successful programs...Riverview Hospital's "Winding Your Weigh Down" and the the YMCA's "Y Weight" programs. Increase your knowledge of nutrition and exercise, change specific attitudes and develop healthy behaviors that promote lifelong weight-loss results. A healthy weight is the natural weight you can reach through good eating, regular physical activity and managing stress. Reaching a specific weight is not as important as the lifestyle changes you make to become healthy. The 8 week program includes:
*Private weigh-ins
*Weekly meal plans
*Weekly healthy snack ideas and recipes
*Weekly discussions on latest dieting trends and fads
and nutritional topics such as portion control, label analysis, emotional eating and tips on how to boost your metabolism and control your calories to lose weight.
*8 Week Fitness Class:This simple, but intense class will focus on cross training and will be constantly changing to keep it fun and to expose you to various types of exercise. Exercise techniques covered will maximize your calories burned and increase your energy level to create dramatic results. This class is optional and is included when you sign up for the Y Weight Program.

Non-members receive FREE use of the Wellness Center during the 8 week program. Better yet, if you join within 30 days after the Y-Weight class we'll waive your Joiner's Fee!

8 Week Session Date: April 6 - May 27, 2010

Tuesdays @ 5:30 - 6:30pm @ the YMCA, 1421 Pepper Avenue, Wisconsin Rapids
Thursdays @ 5:30 - 6:30pm @ Riverview Hospital, 410 Dewey Street, Wisconsin Rapids

$140 Member fee
$190 Non-member fee
($10 refund by Riverview if all classes and follow-up consultations are attended).
Please register and pay at the YMCA in Port Edwards or Wisconsin Rapids. Class size is limited.



Members now have priority registration. Non-members may only register for classes the week before the session starts. Click on the Program Registration tab for a complete listing of dates.
