School-Age Progressive Gymnastics

If you are unsure of where to start, contact our Gymnastics coordinator, Sam Smazal. Gymnasts may test out of a class based on skill level.

Rollers | Basic

This class is designed for school-aged children who are new to gymnastics or any children who have completed our toddler gymnastics classes. Instructors will guide them to improve their strength and flexibility; work on handstands and cartwheels; balancing skills, jumps and dismounts on beam; swings and hip circles on bars; and other fun skills. This class will help lay down a foundation for upcoming levels.

Cartwheelers | Intermediate

This class is designed for gymnasts who have completed ROLLERS gymnastics to continue developing skills. Instructors will help reinforce previous skills; improve strength and flexibility; work on turns, bridges, and round-offs on the floor; balancing skills, jumps, turns, and dismounts on beam; pull-overs and hip circles, and handstands on bars; and vaulting skills.

Aerials | Advanced

This class is designed for gymnasts advancing from CARTWHEELERS to continue growing. Previous skills are reinforced; improve strength and flexibility; work on bridge kick-overs and handsprings; balancing, jumps, turns, and handstands on beam; glide swings, hip circles, and casts on bars; and vaulting skills. Gymnasts will focus on skills needed in USAG level 2.
